The first generation of the Peugeot 2008 received a lot of success which is why Peugeot has gone ahead and unveiled the second generation Peugeot 2008 SUV and this time around, Peugeot has also given 2008 an electric twist. The 2020 Peugeot 2008 is more stylistically assertive. The balanced lines and overall proportions are those of an SUV, with a recessed windshield that makes the bonnet more horizontal, creating a strong body.[gallery size="full" ids="9702,9701"]The car sits well on its wheels, perfectly shouldered, strong and reassuring. Statutory and with identity, the front incorporates a proud and straight grille (body colour on electric versions), a carved bonnet and LED daytime running lights that fade under the projector in order to resurface below making the signature shape of a hook. The faceted and bold profile immediately catches the eye, with different triangular lines.[gallery size="full" ids="9703,9704"]Inside, like any other modern-day Peugeots, it is outrageous as well as simple. The colours and materials are meticulously detailed, skilfully combining noble materials and original colours. There are dual digital displays for driver and front-seat passenger along with a bank of "piano keys" in the centre stack that controls a variety of functions, depending on the trim level. Not to mention, Peugeot's i-Cockpit 3D makes a comeback on the Peugeot 2008. Information is placed in the driver's line of sight. Depending on the version, the Peugeot i-Cockpit 3D instrument cluster projects it like a hologram. In terms of power, the 2020 Peugeot 2008 is driven by a variety of oil burners, there is the 1.2-litre PureTech three-cylinder gas engine can be had with either 100, 130, or 155 hp.
